LEARNING IN FREEDOM
EVERY CHILD IS UNIQUE
Within Divine GPMS, every Child is Recognized as a Human Being possessing Equal Intrinsic Value, Inherent Rights, Natural Abilities, Creativity, and an Individual Purpose and Potential.
Education is therefore not Intended to force every Child through the same path.
Children are given the Freedom, support, resources, and opportunities to discover what Genuinely Interests Them and to develop Their Own Natural Abilities at a pace appropriate to Them.
LEARNING WITHOUT FINANCIAL BARRIERS
Every Child will have Free access to the educational resources and technology needed to Learn and Explore.
Computers and other learning technologies may provide access to knowledge, books, languages, mathematics, sciences, history, arts, music, practical skills, and educational resources from throughout the world.
Technology remains a tool for Learning. It does not replace Parents, Families, Teachers, Mentors, Community, Human relationships, Nature, or practical experience.
LEARNING WITHIN THE COMMUNITY
Education does not need to be confined to a conventional classroom.
Human Beings throughout a Community possess Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Wisdom that They may Choose to Share with Children.
GARDENING & NATURE
A Gardener may Teach Children how to plant seeds, understand soil, grow Organic Food, and Care for the Earth.
FOOD & LIFE SKILLS
A Cook may Teach food preparation, nutrition, baking, preservation, and the Enjoyment of Creating meals.
ARTS & MUSIC
Artists and Musicians may Share Their Creativity and Skills.
Builders, Craftspeople, Engineers, Scientists, Farmers, Healers, Writers, and other Knowledgeable Human Beings may provide opportunities for Children to Learn directly through Experience.
Dedicated learning spaces may exist throughout Communities, including homes, workshops, gardens, farms, studios, Community spaces, and other appropriate environments.
Children, Together with Their Parents or Those Responsible for Their Care, may Choose the opportunities that are appropriate for Them.
THE FOUNDATIONS FOR INDEPENDENT LEARNING
Children are supported in developing the foundational Abilities that allow Them to Explore Knowledge Independently—including Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Communication, Reasoning, Creativity, and practical Life Skills.
From these foundations, Learning can increasingly follow the Child’s Own Curiosity, Interests, Natural Abilities, Creativity, Innovation, and Ingenuity.
Rather than measuring every Child against the same standardized path, education Recognizes that Human Beings Learn differently and possess different Gifts.
A Child deeply Interested in Nature may naturally move toward biology, agriculture, ecology, or Earth sciences.
Another fascinated by how things work may Explore mathematics, engineering, invention, building, or technology.
Another may be drawn toward music, art, writing, history, philosophy, Caring for Others, or countless other possibilities.
One Interest Naturally opens the door to many areas of Knowledge.
LEARNING THROUGH LIFE
Education becomes part of Life rather than something separated from it.
Children may Learn through reading, conversation, experimentation, observation, Creativity, Nature, Community participation, technology, travel, practical Experience, Teachers, Mentors, Parents, and one Another.
There is room for quiet study and Collective Learning.
There is room for books and hands-on Experience.
There is room for structure when structure is Helpful and Freedom when exploration leads the way.
The purpose is not simply to memorize information.
It is to develop the Ability to Think, Question, Explore, Create, Communicate, Solve problems, Cooperate with Others, discover Truth for Oneself, and Apply Knowledge Wisely.
LEARNING THROUGH DIFFERENT AGES
AGES 3–7
Learning may Naturally center around play, stories, language, numbers, Nature, movement, music, Creativity, Kindness, observation, and discovery.
AGES 8–12
Children may expand Their foundations in reading, writing, mathematics, sciences, arts, practical Life skills, Nature, Communication, Creativity, Curiosity, and Critical Thinking while increasingly Exploring Their Own Interests.
AGES 13 AND BEYOND
Young Human Beings may pursue increasingly advanced Knowledge and practical Experience according to Their Interests and Natural Abilities, including sciences, mathematics, literature, philosophy, agriculture, technology, arts, trades, entrepreneurship, Natural Law, Divine GPMS Principles, and countless other fields.
They may Learn directly with Experienced Human Beings, Participate in Community projects, develop Inventions and Creative works, undertake Independent study, and begin Contributing Their Own Gifts and Knowledge to Humanity.
EDUCATION THAT LIBERATES HUMAN POTENTIAL
The Purpose of education within Divine GPMS is not to manufacture conformity.
It is to Provide every Child with the Foundations, Freedom, Resources, Human support, and Opportunities needed to discover and develop Who They Naturally are.
Without financial barriers and unnecessary educational pressure, Children have Greater Freedom to Learn through Curiosity rather than fear, to Develop through Inspiration rather than coercion, and to pursue Knowledge because They Genuinely wish to Innerstand.
Education becomes a Lifelong Freedom available to every Human Being.
